Ex-Zec Travel

Terms and Conditions

1.Deposits

On verbal or written acceptance of a booking a minimum of £ 50.00 per vehicle deposit is required up to a maximum of £ 150.00 per vehicle depending upon the nature of the event/transfer, i.e. Weddings,Corporate days or Nights out ( PLEASE ENQUIRE) This can be paid by credit card or cheque.Upon receipt of the deposit confirmation shall be sent via e:mail/letter or both.Should the client cancel the booking for whatever reason all Deposits are non-refundable or transferable.However should Ex-Zec Travel have to cancel the booking for whatever reason all monies shall be returned to the client.We shall always supply names and contact numbers of equally reputable companies to ourselves.

The following bookings carry a:
1.£ 150.00 deposit
2.£ 100.00 deposit
3.£ 50.00 deposit

2.Balance.

Balance of all monies shall be received no later than the following.
Balance paid by cheque to be received no later than 15 working days before the event/transfer
Balance paid by credit card,in some cases can be paid up to 24 hours before the event/transfer ( PLEASE ENQUIRE)
In some cases balance may be paid in cash at pick up/start of the job.

3.Refunds/Cancellations

Should the client cancel the booking the following shall apply.
 
Cancellation by the client up to 24 hours before the event/transfer-100% of the final balance shall be re-funded to the client
Cancellation by the client within 24 hours and up to 8 hours before the event/transfer 75% of the final balance shall be re-funded.
Cancellation by the client within 8 hours of the event/transfer no re-funds shall be given.
We remind you that deposits are non-refundable or transferable( you may wish to take out insurance for such events)
Cancellations
Should Ex-Zec Travel have to cancel the booking for whatever reason we shall always supply names and contact details of other companies for the client to make alternative arrangements.All monies shall be re-funded.

4. Waiting Time

The first 15 minutes of waiting time are always included in our price, thereafter we charge waiting times at the following rates:-

1.6.00AM TO MIDNIGHT £ 25.00 PER HOUR/PRO RATA
2.MIDNIGHT TO 2.00AM £ 35.00 PER HOUR /PRO RATA
3. 2.00AM TO 6.00AM £ 45.00 PER HOUR /PRO RATA

5. Hire Price

We guarantee the cost of the vehicle hire, providing that the original itinerary at the time of the booking has not been altered.

6. Liability

Ex-Zec Travel does not accept liability for missed flights/events, loss or damage to luggage or consequential losses to circumstances beyond our control (once again, you may wish to take out insurance against this).

7. Alcohol

Ex-zec travel does not allow alcohol on board our vehicles under any circumstances, Ex-zec travel do not not carry passengers who are drunk or abusive.

8. VAT

Ex-Zec Travel are not registered for VAT, therefore we do not charge it.

9. Abusive Behaviour

Ex-Zec Travel does not tolerate abusive behaviour.

10. Smoking

All of our vehicles are non-smoking.

11. Illegal Materials/Substances

The carrying or use of unregistered weapons and/or illegal drugs/substances is strictly forbidden in our vehicles.

12. Use of Vehicles

Ex-Zec Travel makes every effort to supply top quality vehicles. However, should such vehicles not be available, we reserve the right to provide a similar alternative vehicle. This is known as a sub-contractor/sub-hire. If the alternative vehicle is unsuitable all monies shall be returned.

13. Insurance

Ex-Zec Travel is insured for passenger travel only. This insurance is for public liability and does not constitute travel insurance.

14. Soilage/Vehicle Damage

Clients are responsible for any damage they cause to the interior or exterior of a vehicle on hire to them, and will be billed accordingly for any repair or valeting required to reinstate a vehicle to working order. Typical costs are £100 minimum valeting charge and £35 per hour whilst the vehicle is off the road and unavailable for hire. In addition to this, all other costs to reinstate the vehicle to working order must be paid. General wear and tear is expected. Please look after our vehicles.

15. Animals

Under no circumstances will animals be allowed in our vehicles except guide dogs.

16. Airport Transfers

Airport transfers are a fixed price and allow for any delays. However, should flights be diverted to other airports, Ex-Zec Travel shall do their best to be there for you. The client should be fully aware that should extra ‘out of pocket' costs be involved, the client should be prepared to pay for these in full. Please enquire for a full explanation.

17. Cheques

All cheques should be made payable to Ex-Zec Travel Services.

18. Out of Pocket Expenses

Our prices do not include car parking or congestion charges etc.., unless otherwise stated. These expense shall be added at cost.
